Everyone is using them, everyone has the favorite one. i am talking about so called IM - Instant Messengers. The software allows you to communicate with others in real time. As the internet connection is faster, the communication is more comfortable and allows to use camera and sound.
Most known messengers are ICQ, AIM, Skype, Windows Live Messenger a Jabber.
I personally am using Trillian. This one allows you to talk to others no matter what service they use. You can sign in under your MSN, ICQ,AIM etc. account and start to chat. If you have slower comp, this application will not slow it down even more.
